The Drenched Fur 6 Committee had a record fund raising effort for this year. 

This year's recipient is EGN (Erie Gay News) which has served and continues to serve the Erie region's GLBT community for nearly two decades!  Since 1992 EGN has published news and events of both local and national groups, and posts GLBT events to local mainstream media, in order to increase the community's visibility.

In addition, Erie Gay News:

• started the first local area picnic in 1992 and continues to organize this annual event, which is the largest pride event in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
• has had a strong web presence since 1997 and currently includes not only current and upcoming news, a complete searchable index of resources, but also a text GLBT local history going back to the late 1960's and a photographic history dating back to 1995.

Many thanks to our attendees for their participation this year which has allowed us to donate over $1400 to Erie Gay News!
